I am still stunned if I look back at this adventure. In October and November 2016 Dane Vetter and I visited Iceland, again, this time to see Northern Lights for the first time in our life. And it did work out very well!
It is so hard for other countries to compete with Iceland and its beautiful nature. The only downsides are the price and the increased tourism, taking photos of Northern Lights at the famous glacier lagoon Jökulsarlon with 100 people next to you is quite challenging. But I am glad that there are still some sweet spots where you are basically alone.
For the first time I not only did photos but videos as well. The first one can be seen here and presents Dane's and my highlights of this trip. If you like my video leave me a comment on YouTube, and I do appreciate every single follower.
Iceland - The Highlights Video
Now back to my main business - photography. I did more than 3,000 photos in 15 days on a 3,200 km round trip, resulting in about (currently) 45 final images I am happy to share (ordered chronologically). You will see both DSLR and aerial shots.
Enjoy my highlights and feel free to drop me a comment if you like what you see.
